All though high school and most of college, I always thought that Sparknotes was just a way of cheating and that it was not actually helpful. Plus I wanted to read all my books, not just read a bunch of notes. But then I learned that Sparknotes was a great study guide, definably for plays where it gives you the break down of Characters and acts/scenes. Of course I did not think that it would be helpful outside of school. Boy was I wrong.
In trying to study for the GRE, I happened upon Sparknotes GRE study help. Not only do they go through all of the math stuff (which I so needed a refresher on) they also give strategies for taking the test. Of course growing up in NYS means that I am a good test taker. The Regents are not easy test, and I'm used to the tricks that the test writers put in place. Still finding a really good, free, online study guide is amazing.
So despite all of the bad stuff people say about SparkNotes, I am personally very grateful. Now back to studying...
